Yard/Industry Straight Track Templates Code 70/83

New to the model railroad world!

This is the first time true to life and realistic track can be made in unlimited lengths. 4 new designs for straight track templates are now available.

• Heavy Freight: For main running tracks of heavy freight and fast passenger traffic
• Medium Freight: for main running tracks on branches with medium freight and passenger traffic
• Light Traffic: for main tracks on branches with light traffic and in running side tracks
• Yard/Industry: for yard, storage and commercial sidings

All 4 designs are based off of prototype drawings.

• Heavy freight tie spacing is 19 7/9" apart
• Medium freight tie spacing is 22 1/4" apart
• Light Traffic tie spacing is 25 3/4" apart
• Yard/Industry tie spacing is 29 2/3" apart

"p" on template hold two purposes:

1. P is where you can utilized a pc tie (styrene shim needed) as these were designed to not use pc ties!
2. Locate the joint in the rail. Every other "P" on top and bottom is 39 scale feet apart. This allows the precise location for simulating jointed rail.

These templates are designed to make unlimited lengths of straight track. You can make 1 inch up to multiple feet of straight track that is unmatched in prototype accuracy!

No need to buy laser cut ties. Add to the realism by using real wood ties that are made correctly to scale. Our competitor has equal tie spacing for all ties that is not prototypical. Want realistic track? You have found what you are looking for!
