Description

The YIHUA 862BD+ is the hot air rework and soldering station I use every day when building Roadmaster turnouts and track components. It combines a precision soldering iron with a variable-temperature hot air station, making it one of the most versatile tools on my workbench.

I use the hot air station to install Roadmaster tie plates and rail using Pliobond adhesive. The controlled heat activates the adhesive without the need for an open flame. The soldering iron is used for rail feeders, electrical connections, and other assembly work.
