Roadmaster Series Straight kits are now available! They all utilize laser cut ties and cme with spacer tabs to connect multiple pieces together with ease! The tie plates have built in electrical pickups to eliminate the need to snake feeder wires up through bench work. Kits with traditional wood ties are still available. The laser cut ties will allow you to build straight track a fraction of the time it takes to build with individual wood ties
There are four designs available:
1. Heavy Freight: For main running tracks of heavy freight and fast passenger traffic
Heavy freight tie spacing is 19 7/9" apart
2. Medium Freight: For main running tracks on branches with medium freight and passenger traffic.
Medium freight tie spacing is 22 1/4" apart
3. Light (Branchline Freight: For main tracks on branches with light traffic and in running side tracks.
Light (Branchline) freight tie spacing is 25 3/4" apart.
4. Yard/Industry: For yards, Storage and commercial sidings
Yard/industry tie spacing is 27 2/3" apart
Available in lengths of 16 inches.
One kit will make 2 16" sections.
Laser Cut tie bases are in 16 inch sections.
Completed track is in 16 inch sections and 32 inch sections.
Curvable tie plates and laser cut ties will be available in December 2024.
