This is the first time true to life and realistic track can be made in unlimited lengths. 4 new designs for straight track templates are now available.
Heavy Freight: For main running tracks of heavy freight and fast passenger traffic
Medium Freight: for main running tracks on branches with medium freight and passenger traffic
Light Traffic: for main tracks on branches with light traffic and in running side tracks
Yard/Industry: for yard, storage and commercial sidings
All 4 designs are based off of prototype drawings.
Heavy freight tie spacing is 19 7/9" apart
Medium freight tie spacing is 22 1/4" apart
Light Traffic tie spacing is 25 3/4" apart
Yard/Industry tie spacing is 29 2/3" apart
Image of all four straight track options from top to bottom are Heavy, Medium, Light and Yard/Industry as noted by H, M, L and Y on the template. The tie spacing on the left and right of every "P" is 20". This can be clearly seen in the Yard/Industry template.
You can choose from real to life jointed rail track with joints every 39 scale feet or have made in 3 foot sections. 33 foot jointed rail will be a future product. I have drawings for 39 feet and 33 feet and chose 39 feet first.
Rail joiners/tie plates can be added for an additional charge.
